2. You should have completed unit 3, chapters 1 and 2 (all exercises)
3. You have to create a mind map and a concept map (concept map is based on reading skill: Chronological order) of both reading assignments.

Welcome Students Readings & Conversations II / UES / 2014
Welcome Students
This will be our blog for this semester and please read it often to keep informed about the different activities we will be doing throughout.The book are going to use is ACTIVE Skills for Reading: Book 4
Assigned Reading for the first week (buy book at SETUES with Moises)
- Unit 3 (pages 40 to 52)
a. Chapter 1: Into the Heart of a Family in Casablanca
b. Chapter 2: Canaima - Eco-tours with Angels and Devils
c. Create a concep map and a word map for both chapters (https://www.examtime.com/blog/what-is-a-mind-map/--- graphic organizers: http://www.enchantedlearning.com/graphicorganizers/vocab/)
Please read the two chapters and complete the exercises. We will have a discussion on the topics when we meet.
